The government has made it mandatory for ration card holders to get e-KYC done. Candidates who will not get e-KYC done for their ration card will not get ration on the ration card. Ration card holders will be able to get the benefit of ration after the process of e-KYC.

The government is taking this step to stop black marketing in the state. This will curb the black marketing of ration and people making fake ration cards so that the right people can get ration items. Therefore, e-KYC has been made mandatory for everyone by the government so that the ration items are received only by the eligible beneficiary.
Process to get Ration Card e-KYC done
To get the ration card e-KYC done, the eligible beneficiary will have to go to the fair price shop. The candidate should bring his own Aadhar card and ration card. The last date for this is 15th August. If the beneficiary does not get the e-KYC of his ration card done, then his name will be removed from the food security list.
All ration card holders included in food security can complete the e-KYC process by going to their nearest ration dealer. It is necessary to complete the ration card e-KYC process of all the applicants whose names are in each ration card.

To continue getting the benefits of the food security scheme, the beneficiaries must get their KYC done by visiting their nearest fair price shop owner. For e-KYC, biometric verification of all the family members is necessary, hence all the family members will have to go to the nearest fair price shop and get their verification done.

All the candidates who are availing the benefit of the Food Security Scheme must go to their ration dealer and get their e-KYC done by August 15 so that they do not have to face any inconvenience because if you do not get the e-KYC of the ration card done, the ration you are getting will be stopped.
Ration card e-KYC can be done at any fair price shop located at any place in the state. If the Aadhaar card of any member is not linked to the ration card of the consumer, then the e-KYC of that member can be done only after getting the Aadhaar seeding done in the ration card. It is free.
